since 2022: Principal investigator (post-doc) of the research project "Digital communicative strategies on social media for the inclusion of people with disabilities" (third-party funding for over appr. €400.000 funded by Bavarian Research Institute for digital Transformation (bidt) at the Bavarian Academy of Science and the Bavarian Ministry of Arts and Sciences)


Research experience across different fields in Applied Linguistics, Computer-Mediated Communication, and Human-Centered Data Science

Proof of the acquistion of third-party funding (over appr. 400.000 €) and strong skills in scientific project management

May 2024: successful scientific evaluation of the research project (post-doc) "Digital communicative strategies on social media for the inclusion of people with disabilities" ("Habilitationsäquivalenz" is given) by the Bavarian Research Institute for digital Transformation at the Bavarian Academy of Science

since 2014: Extensive teaching experience with outstanding teaching evaluation across different fields in Linguistics and Human-Centered Data Science at all academic levels (including master classes and for Ph.D.-students) 

since October 2022: appointed member of the Bavarian Research Institute for  digital Transformation (bidt) at the Bavarian Academy of Science. Invitation to the post-doc mentoring program at BIdT with an own research project.

January 2023 - 2024: member of COMENTO, the mentoring and coaching program of the University of Bayreuth for the promotion of outstanding female scientists

2021: PhD at the University of Regensburg, the Otto-Friedrich-University of Bamberg, and at the Alpen-Adria-University of Klagenfurt, completed with the acquisition of the doctoral degree with distinction (in Germany: summa cum laude) at the Alpen-Adria-University of Klagenfurt) 

Topic of the dissertation: Modalverbs in political argumentation in federal press conferences. This dissertation examines persuasive argumentation through modal verbs in political and media interactions (quantitative and qualitative methods) (anonymous peer-reviewed publication in the outstanding academic series "Linguistik - Impulse und Tendenzen")

Outstanding scientific output (international and national) proven by 26 peer-reviewed academic papers, comprehensive teaching experience (ca. 30 classes), and international collaboration with leading international universities
